It is suitable for most heat sources including gas, electric, induction, and ceramic/ halogen hobs. The domed lid is self-basting to preserve moisture during cooking and the casserole dish is flat-bottomed for cooker top heat sources. Capacity is 10 pints (5.6 litres)
