Vintage Gourmet Dutch Oven Bread

This fresh bread can be made in your Vintage Gourmet Dutch Oven: recipe and pictures were sent in by a customer

3 cups strong bread flour

1.5 cups warm water from hot tap

1 sachet yeast

pinch of salt

1 Hand mix ingredients in a bowl (don’t knead)

2 Allow to rise 1 hour

3 Heat oven to 230C (gas mark 8 or 9) and warm up the pot in it for 5 minutes

4 Take out, remove lid, dust with flour, drop in dough, replace lid & return to oven

5 Bake for 35 minutes
